Ministry

At the International House of Prayer Ministries, we take our ministries very seriously. We do not create ministries just so we can add them to the list. We start ministries when we see a need and when a leader steps up with a burden to reach a certain demographic of people or to minister in a certain way. By limiting the amount of ministries, we can focus on quality. We hope that you can find a minstry that can help you in your walk with Christ, or one that you might want to be a part of. At IHOPM we strive to build every member to have a part in ministry. There are many parts of the body of Christ… which part are you?

Missions

If you were to describe IHOPM in one word, it would be “missional”. In his last passage, before he ascended to heaven, Jesus told his disciples to go into the entire world and preach the gospel. Several years ago, God placed a man into the pastor’s life named Glen Shepherd. Glen shared his heart to the pastor about a small country sandwiched between India and China called Nepal. The pastor had never heard of this place, let alone ever planned on going. After a lot of prayer, fasting, and a direct word from God, the pastor found himself on a 36-hour flight to Nepal. From that moment, he has never been the same.

Now, Nepal has become a part of the church. Every year, the pastor takes a team from IHOPM and other’s from around the country. They do conferences for teachers, pastors, and women in association with our team of native Christians led by Elyiah Prahdan. They also do medical clinics.

After returning from his first trip, Bryan started a non-profit organization called, Asian Children’s Education Fellowship. We use ACEF to raise money to support our team in Nepal, and to help the children of Nepal, and North East India.

Recently, our church has been honored in taking on the responsibility of supporting the entire work in Nepal.  We have partnered with other churches around the nation to help with the financial responsibility.  Nepal has made such a difference in the lives of our church.  We only hope that we can do the same for them.

Student Ministries

Student Ministries at IHOPM includes everyone from preschoolers to 20 somethings. Classes change seasonally to better accommodate the students. The 5-13 year olds meet together for praise  & worship, fun activities and then split into groups for Bible application.  The  Middle School and High School classes combine to one large class, and the College aged class has the option to choose from several different classes with the Adults.

Student ministries take place on Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 and usually end between 7:45 and 8 p.m.
